ABOUT ME
MY STORY
I was born and raised in New Jersey, where I quickly found my love of the arts. From performing in school and community shows, to attending the Fine & Performing Arts Magnet High School, to majoring in theatre at Northwestern University, performing has always been a huge part of my life.
I have always been a bit of a nerd, and have had a love for science ever since I was a kid. (Yes, I was on the science team in high school - between that and being a choir kid you can imagine how much street cred I had.) I now am finishing up my neuroscience degree (with a concentration in biology) at Northwestern, and have extensive lab research experience in neurobiology and psychology. So, if you wanna know any fun facts about drosophila melanogaster, I’m your girl.
In high school, I became interested in disability justice activism through my work with Act Out NJ, which offered music and theatre classes to individuals with disabilities. I have continued to do this work throughout my undergraduate career, and am now artistic director of Seesaw Theatre, which creates multisensory theatre for autistic and otherwise disabled young audiences, as well as is a prominent disability justice advocacy organization.
I am always looking to explore new skills! Specific theatre styles I am currently well-versed in are:
Immersive/Multisensory Theatre
TYA (theatre for young audiences)
Devising/Writing
Musical Theatre
